Chudleigh Arts Festival 2020 Memories...
Following last year's inventive high-spirited THE COMEDY OF ERRORS. Kickline returns with another unusual take on a Shakespearean legend!
The Teign Thespianic Society is planning a spectacular production of the Scottish Play. Sadly, however, the pandemic has ravaged rehearsal time and pillaged the productin team. Still a hardy band of three (and a bit) push on and pull off a theatrical coup with Macbeth- The Insane Root: you'll never see another Macbeth like it!
MACBETH- THE INSANE ROOT

ANOTHER DELIGHTFUL RETURN!
Set in the delightful Orchard Gardens, Opera al Fresco offer a dizzying melange of highlights from comic, serious and pastoral opera and operetta.
The quartet, under the musical direction of Paul McLure, will whisk you away to the realms of operatic fantasy, with a few giggles along the way!
In non-Covid times, the members of Opera al Fresco form part of the Staircase Opera Company. The company is well known around Devon for their entertaining Opera Scenes concerts, and for their highly dramatic productions of Britten's Turn of the Screw and in the past 4 years, Menotti's The Medium, and The Consul.
OPERA IN THE GARDENS
Sun 19th Sep 7pm
The heartfelt wail of the
blues; the sultry heat of the campfire; the crazy swirl of the bal musette,
all fused together with virtuosity and passion in the melting pot of 1930’s Paris: the result was gypsy jazz.
Now ‘LA VIE EN ROSE’ play this exuberant, toe-tapping music with a swing and joie-de-vivre as fresh today
as when Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli first conjured it from the back streets of Pigalle.
' L A V I E E N R O S E ' . . . five musicians with wide-ranging individual backgrounds in classical music, traditional jazz, rock, blues, country, ragtime and roots, pulled together by the shared pleasure of gypsy jazz and hot swing.
LA VIE EN ROSE
Sun 12th Sep 7pm
